ScoreSense credit check scam got my father Scam Alert!! My father fell for this scam and while I'm now trying to get him a refund through various consumer protection agencies and his credit card company I want to do as much damage to this company's online reputation as possible in the meantime so please feel free to share with everyone. ScoreSense, a Product of One Technologies LP is a complete ripoff scam. Their website and online ads offer an opportunity to see your credit scores for $1, but what the fine print says is that this signs you up for a monthly subscription to their service if you don't cancel the "trial" subscription you just signed up for within 9 days. At that point they will begin charging you $29.95/month onto the same account you used to pay for the free trial. Scams like this specifically target the elderly (my father is 72 yrs old and unfortunately no longer possesses the sharp mental focus he once did) and those who do not pay meticulous attention to their credit card statements. Please pass this on to all those you care about and let's stop this fraudulent company from taking advantage of anyone else.
