Scam Tracker report entered on behalf of consumer by BBB Employee: Dear Sir/Madame: My name is ** * ******, I searched on the internet for help writing a story about my court case. I came across to the advertisement from Mr. Adam Levi. He listed a phone number: 347-201-0616. He advertised as follows: For $699 we include publication within our package. You can get a 50 page book written with a book cover. On or about May 23, 2024, I then called him at the number above and pay $699 with my credit card. A few weeks later, I was worried that this might be a scam so I called him back and told him that I would like to cancel my purchase and request a refund. He told me that I should give him a change to assist me, but I told him that I want to cancel the purchase. A month later, when I did not receive any thing from him, I call my credit card company and complained about Mr. Adam Levi not refunding me. On Monday, Dec 9, 2024, my credit card company named Techron Advantage Visa Credit card emailing me that they have received my claim. (Claim # ********). On Dec. 26, 2024, Techron Advantage Visa Credit card company emailed me and informing me that they resolved the dispute as follows: "Your dispute claim in the amount of $699.00 has been closed on 12/26/2024. We have concluded our investigation based on the information provided and have declined the dispute. You are responsible for the disputed charge. I then filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission online. I would like to share my experience with others and hope that no one will have to go through this experience.
