An online ad popped up on Google for a product called Clarity Blue Glasses. It states that the lenses are adjustable for poor vision from 100 to 700 diopters which would replace most prescription glasses. The ad included reviews from rep reputable institutions like CBS, etc.. Moneyback guarantee was made. I ordered three pair of clarity blue glasses and paid $121. One week later, the glasses were delivered, and the glasses I received were called Noblu vision glasses. They have no ability to adjust. They are made of one piece of cast plastic and supposedly block blue light. I contacted the original number from the website. 866-489-6102. The call did not even go through it simply disconnected. I called several times. I went to PayPal and found my order and contacted the merchant. I told them the product I ordered was not the product I received and I would like a refund. They stated that they could only refund $54 because of the delivery fee that I had agreed to. I told them it was not my fault that they delivered the wrong product. Then they told me I could keep the product and they would refund $91 by doing this. They sold me three worthless pieces of plastic for $30. I accepted this deal as I figured it was the best I was going to Do. Fair warning!!! My order that I have a copy of and shared with them was for adjustable clarity Blue glasses. They did not offer to send me these. I am not sure they exist. [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Clarity blue glasses] [Location: PA, USA - 17321]

I started to purchase these on the Clarity Blue website, but realized they had 2 pairs in my cart midway through the purchase process. I stopped and tried to go back to delete one pair, but they had already charged me for both pairs. There was a box I needed to check to state I didn't want a 2nd pair and it was not obvious to find. Moments later, I called the phone number provided , 866-489-6102, several different times, but it was always a fax machine noise on the other end. Same day as false purchase, I emailed them at [email protected] and two days later they responded saying "Unfortunately, we could not stop the fulfillment of the order and it has already been shipped from our side." So, I received both pairs of glasses but the glasses did not have any diopter measurement, meaning it was 0. They do not work and they are cheap. On the same date as delivery, I reached out to " [email protected] " to request a refund and 13 days later have not received a response. While on Facebook, an ad for Clarity Blue glasses popped up. I had been working on a project and my eyes were blurring. The glasses seemed to be just what I needed at the time. I had seen the ad before. Unfortunately, it was not until after I received the fake glasses that I checked the reviews. I should have checked and will from now on. This is the email I sent them the same day the glasses arrived. "I received my glasses today. They do not do anything. When I move my glasses over text, as in your website demo, the text does not change and when I go out in the sunlight, they do not darken. They also appear to have a blotchy yellow tint, not the bluish tint in your ad. What is the problem? How do I get a refund?" They responded with, "Hi D----, Thank you for your email. We're sorry to hear that you want to return your order. We want to save you the trouble of returning the order and paying the return shipping fees. Therefore, we are here to help you with your return and refund process. In order to initiate the refund, we will require you to return the product. But as an alternative, we offer a discount to-keep option, where you can receive a 50% refund and keep the product, or even donate the product. We can immediately refund $19.99, which will show on your statement typically within 3-5 business days. How does that sound? We look forward to hearing back from you. Please let us know if you have additional questions or concerns. Armando Gray Clarity Blue Glasses Phone: +1 (866) 489-6102" My response, "I paid $63.39. You're offering to refund less than a third of what I paid. The product is lightweight and small. It will not cost me over $40 to return it. The post office is less than 4 miles from my house, so it's not that much of a hassle. I was really looking forward to using the glasses as you advertised.
