My younger sister and I were almost scammed. Our mother just celebrated her birthday and, unfortunately, we had a tight month and could not afford presents for her. To remedy this, my little sister began searching online for "english bulldog puppies" because our mother absolutely loves the little hounds, but we have never been able to afford one. With my part-time job savings, and my little sister's allowance savings, we were going to surprise our mom with the puppy of her dreams. We found a breeder that advertised puppies from a few states over for $150 plus $50 shipping fee. Do-able. Why would a supposedly international agency run off of a free blog website? Red Flag Number Two. I scroll down the email, which is oddly formatted, and then there is Red Flag Number Three staring me in the face. The "agency's" payment is to be delivered via MoneyGram to a city in Cameroon, Africa. We immediately tell the seller we are out. We refuse to wire money to an out-of-the-country address. Our
