[Us] I think Talent.com sold my information I used the website to try to apply for a job and soon after I started receiving multiple calls from various numbers about my Medicare benefits program. I told them multiple times I don't have Medicare and was asking how they got my name and number but they hang up the phone and call with a different number each time. I received a letter in the mail telling me to call a number about my updated Medicare benefits but threw it away because I don't have Medicare. Anyway it all happened after using talent.com I never even was able to submit the application it started trying to get me to apply for more jobs before submitting. I cant see any other way they can get my name number and home address but its confusing what are they really after anyway? I legit don't have Medicare that I am aware of it makes zero sense why they bother me multiple times a day with multiple numbers and send letters.
I applied to a job on talent.com for an executive administrator. On Monday 2/2/26 I was emailed from the HR of what was said to be Quest Holdings SA saying that they wanted to interview me for the job. On tuesday 2/3 I did show up to the job via Microsoft teams and was told that it would be via messages so that others in the group could read my replies and they decide from there. Later that day they said they decided to hire me and that I would report Weds at 8am for training via the microsoft teams. I did this for a couple of days and then they said that a check for the items I would need for the remote work would arrive stating what I would need. I kept stating during training that my answers would be better if I knew exactly what the company did and my role but was told that once they got to know my abilities then they would decide. The check did arrive but it was from the company Brodie, so I researched more to see if it was a parent company or something The address the check was mailed from was 717 Texas Ave STE 1600 Houston TX 77002 and when i googled the address there was not any of these company names there. SO then I looked in the envelop and there was a note that i needed to deposit right away and send a copy of my deposit to [email protected] , this made me more curious so I did google the email and found it on the Better Business Bureau as an employment scam.
