I clicked on an advertisement for a tactical hiking stick with an integrated survival kit and a case to carry it. I was redirected me to Zorobyes.com where I made the purchase through PayPal. Upon receiving the item, it was obviously not the item I purchased, as it was just a folding walking cane with no accessories or case. I reached out to the seller to attempt to make a return of the item and receive a refund, but the seller never responded. I paid roughly $60 for a $5 cane that was nothing like what I purchased. My husband saw the item (Tactical Hiking Stick) advertised on Facebook. I'm suspicious so I went online to look up the company that was listed and after seeing the item and the same sale pricing I ordered it directly through Zorobyes.com on 11/4/25. I received a confirmation email with the correct sale price, my order # and a $4.99 shipping and handling fee. However my first concern was when I got an email 11/4 saying a Paypal payment was being processed from my Visa for a higher price of $89.97 to a company I never heard of (Printcraft Express who I found out is out of Hong Kong). I emailed [email protected] on 11/4 to complain of the overcharge. I got a reply 11/5/25 from [email protected] saying "We understand your concern regarding the additional charge at checkout. We would like to clarify that the fee you were charged is not a shipping fee, but rather a handling fee that covers the cost of order processing, packaging, and fulfillment." They claim I would have seen this fee before completing the order. It was not shown I'm sure because I would have never ordered the hiking stick with such a high extra cost. Then I got another email from a different address that was a template of the same above statement and another from yet another address saying they were looking into my concern! So on 11/6/25 I then emailed everyone that had been contacting me (which was a wide group of addresses which made me feel this whole thing was a scam.)
