XHEX Cryptocurrency exchange is a scam If you are being solicited to buy bitcoins and send them to the XHEX exchange to do trades, be aware it's a scam. The XHEX application is fake. It's not a real exchange. It's meant to steal virtual assets from people who think they are investing their money. In my case, I was approached by someone on Tinder. As we were getting to know each other, they talked to me about cryptocurrency investment. I got intrigued as they pretended they invested in cryptocurrency and were able to make substantial profits by doing futures trading. They suggested to show me how profitable it was by putting a small amount of money. Here is how the fraud works: 1. They suggest to try investing a small of money to see how easy it is. They proposed to me to try between $100 and $1000. I decided to go for $200. 2. They made me install an application that is not part of the Google Play Store. The name of the application is XHEX. I had to download it from a shady website and install the APK directly (on Android). 3. When that was done, they told me to register to the application. It simulates a KYC process, but it's all fake. It will ask for your full information and picture with your ID (driving license, passport). 4. When registered on the XHEX cryptocurrency exchange, they showed me how to transfer my bitcoins from Coinbase to XHEX. 5. They then showed me how to do futures trading on the XHEX application. They pretended they knew how to predict price variations on the market, allowing them to make profitable trades, generating substantial profits. Within 5 minutes, my $200 had somehow increased to 270$ by doing 2 'long selling' trades, each generating an instant profit of 17%. 6. They then showed me how to withdraw my funds back to coinbase, and to my bank account. And so we did. 7. So we just had a "proof of concept" completed that we could generate easy profits on the XHEX cryptocurrency exchange. 8. Since they were winning my trust, I went on p
