The company presents itself as a distributor of TrafficMaster carpet tiles, a brand typically available at Home Depot. Believing their claims, I ordered six boxes of carpet tiles, convinced they were authentic. Shortly after, I discovered a fraudulent charge of $75 on my credit card from Hong Kong, along with a suspicious tracking number. Concerned, I investigated further on their website and uncovered that it was a deceptive operation. They had accessed my credit card details, resulting in a total charge of $156.79. Additionally, there was an unexplained charge of $79 from Hong Kong. When checking the company’s details, I found them to be completely fabricated. There is no contact phone number, the tracking number is bogus, and the merchandise was never received. They are using the logo, description and posing as the trafficmaster merchant. According to the privacy description, which I did not notice because I thought it was a reputable company it states the following “ At www.trafficmasterstore.com , we collect: Your name and surname Your email address Your physical address Your phone number The data about the browser and device you use to view the store The way you navigate the store We gather your contact details because they are necessary to accept and process your orders, and to make sure you’ve got your packages.
