We read and belived the Braincept website. We agreed online to order 6 bottles of product and provided our name, address, phone number, and Citi bank Visa card number through the website's Cartpanda app. Immediately thereafter, we were telephoned by a woman from the phone number (855) 912-4339, who said our order did not go through for unspecified reasons. She asked us for our Visa credit card number, which we provided. We said our online bank account information now showed three charges, for roughly $300 each ($900 total). The woman on the phone said she would remove two of them and a $20 charge for tax, leaving only the one charge for the actual product (roughly $300). Two days later, roughly $600 had been withdrawn from our bank accout ($300 from Braincept and $300 from Cartpanda). To prevent further withdrawals and additional abuses, we cancelled that Visa card, and requested a new number. I anticipate that an additional attempt will be made to charge us for another $300.
