Purchased a new vehicle and getting mail that I need to call 888-307-2075 to activate my vehicle warranty and when I called they said I needed to pay $231 to activate the warranty. They acted legit by reciting my name,address,vehicle vin number etc. They also they couldn’t accept payment from a capital one card because they charge $5 per payment. They sent me a letter to extend manufacturers car warranty. “ our records indicated you have not contacted us as regarding vehicle service contact on your vehicle. By neglecting to activate your coverage, you will be at risk of being financially reliable for any and all repairs after your factory warranty expires. Final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements. This may be our only attempt to contact you about activating your vehicle service contract. We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage if you do not meet our criteria.” I called them and they said it’s last day today. You have to extend it today and pay for two years of the warranty and last two years afterwards, we will be free(total of four years) they were pushing it and making me to purchase it. The phone number they provided as 1-888-307-2075. I dropped a call and then they tried to call me back. I didn’t pick up. I received a letter in the mail saying that it was the final notice of my warranty coverage on my 2024 Mazda CX-5 was at risk of being deactivated.
