I received a letter in the mail without a company name, email, or person associated. Only a phone number with solicitation about extended vehicle warranty. This phone number leads to a different complaint online with a similar experience to me. The letter starts off: "TIME SENSITIVE Attention: name Our records indicate that you have not contacted us regarding the vehicle service contact on your vehicle. Please call 1-888-307-2075 with your current mileage before March 12, 2026. By neglecting to activate your coverage you will be at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs after your factory warranty expires. However, you still may have time left to activate coverage on your vehicle before it's to late. Final acceptance is is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements. This may be our only attempt to contact you about activating your vehicle service contract. We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service contract if you do not meet out criteria." @media (min-widt [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Unknown] [Location: ND, USA- 58201]

On 3/14/26, I received an 8 1/2 x 11 mailer folded into thirds and sealed on the sides. Where the sender's name and address should be, it says, "THIS NOTICE IS TIME SENSITIVE: SENT ON 3/3/2026 INFORMATION FOR VEHICLE OWNER ONLY IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED". Where the stamp should be, it's stamped "PRESORTED STANDARD". Inside, the heading is "TIME SENSITIVE". The upper left corner says, "2019 KIA SOUL Official Business Important Vehicle Information". The upper right corner says, "Customer ID: ELGPAFOS0540 Notice Date: 3/3/2026 Respond By: 3/24/2026. Main body of text is as follows: Attention: Allison Brown Our records indicate that you have not contacted us regarding the vehicle service contract on your vehicle. Please call 1-888-307-2075 with your current mileage before March 24, 2026. By neglecting to activate your coverage you will be at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs after your factory warranty expires. However, you still may have time left to activate coverage on your vehicle before it's too late. Final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements. This may be our last attempt to contact you about activating your vehicle service contract. We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage if you do not meet our criteria. Then, it says YEAR/MAKE/MODEL 2019 KIA SOUL and there is a small picture of a KIA SOUL. Under the picture and address window, it says "***FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY***" and there is a gray box where it says, "THIS LETTER IS TO INFORM YOU: That if your factory warranty has expired, you will be financially liable for all repairs. Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us to get your service contract up-to-date. You have the option to protect your vehicle beyond the factory warranty.
