I received a letter on the mail that had my name, home address, and information about my mortgage. It said that my property's home warranty may be expiring or had already expired and that I needed to contact them. The notice looked legitimate and it said it was the final notice, but it didn't have any information about the company, except the phone number (1-888-404-4504) and that is was signed by Vicky Mercer, Program Director. I did not respond to this scam, but I wanted to report it to hopefully stop them from scamming others. I received a letter in the mail from a lady called Vicky Mercer program director for an alleged ‘home warranty’ company (unnamed company ) the only contact is a telephone number 1-888-404-4504. The letter advised me to contact them before a certain date, or I would have a lapse in coverage, making me liable for all costs associated with any home repairs. Received a letter stating that my Home Warranty had lapsed. The letter had no company address or email. Letter said to contact Vicky Mercer at 1-888-404-4504. When contacting this number and asking where the business was located the man became very aggressive stating I was making a crank call. SCAM!!!! Recieved a letter in the mail to someone that does not, nor ever has, lived at the address. It states to call the number on the letter to update the home warranty. Only provides a phone number to contact, no email, no address of the business. Has a Customer ID and ID Card on letter also. I personally had a loan through this provider when purchasing this property. received letter stating my property's home warranty was about to expire that was secured by Wachovia Bank. I don't deal with Wachovia NOR have a home warrant with them. They wanted me to call 1-888-404-4504 and resolve the matter. What they were actually doing was try and get me to buy a home warranty from their company ..4ever Home Warranty...
