Starting up a IT business and want to cover our ass... We are starting up an IT business and we want to make sure we have a iron tight service agreement so we don't get our asses sued off by some batshit insane customer. Since everything runs on computers I can see it running up damages and we want to be covered. The other tricky part is we are providing services but not actually registered as a company, we are just individuals trying to make some money on the side. I don't know if the language would have to be worded one way or the other given those circumstances. Right now it's just me and my partner who will be working on PC's on customers premises. Very basic things, spyware / malware removal, hardware installations, home networking, OS installations, PC setups. We are going by Apex System Solutions, but aren't an actual registered company. We are in Maryland as well if that helps. Our website with explanations of what services we offer, pricing, and explanation of services is all at www.apexsystemsolutions.com. The link to our current service agreement that we have thrown together is here https://docs.google.com/open?id=1EwIfQqZqZqVA8LsFRJI7CNbfw2jlF2U4jDxOdIbYovDsUvYceNDZITCCO6tz So we are basically trying to see if it will hold up and is worded to fit our situation in accordance with Maryland. We are also up for any suggestions to make it better. Thanks you All, Solar Bang
