Scammer used a rip-open envelope with perforated edges. In place of a return address, there was regarding line with the bank I used for a mortgage loan: "RE" [BANK NAME]". The indicia (where a stamp is placed) reads: U.S. Postage Paid, Permit #100, Claremont, CA. Inside the letter, was my loan closing date, loan amount, and bank name, and a fake mortgage ID #. Letter stated that I was being reached out to "regarding a matter of importance as it relates to your mortgage. Please call 1-833-408-1597. Thank you" No business name, no business address, no business email, no business phone number were provided anywhere. Fine print listed NPN# 19588308. Received a letter from noted PO Box 19595, Jacksonville FL 32245-9595, it was stating my county, close date, loan amount, bank lender name.
