Coinye West: the brainchild of BigVern of Cryptsy? I notice the coin is getting a LOT of hype in the media at the moment and it got me thinking how and why, especially given the impetus DOGE has had in the last month and I did some basic detective work. www.coinyewest.com resolves to 198.41.189.94 and a simple IP lookup also shows that alternativepool.com has previously lived there and currently lives a C block away on 198.41.190.94 A quick Google shows that AlternativePool is also one of Cryptsy owner BigVerns sites, and the line of > *Then, when Coinye launches on January 11th at 11 PM, you can trade your bitcoins for Coinyes on one of the popular cryptocurrency exchanges. The exchanges we're currently talking to are cryptsy.com, coinedup.com, and bter.com.* Would make sense that they're "talking to" cryptsy.com and will appear on there from launch if so!
