I've been looking for a job... so tired of BS emails about a job- please tell me if this is a scam before I go and indulge myself... So I got this email today... >CareerBuilder Job ID: 5148211434 Available: Payments Manager/ Payment Processing Services >New Position Available for you. Resume has been reviewed by our department and you qualify for a position with our company: >Payments Manager/ Payment Processing Services >Job ID 5148211434 >Company Name REAL GRAPHIC INC >Base Salary $65,000-$75,000 >Position Type Full-Time/Part Time >Experience 0-4 Years Experience >Location Your Area >Job Category Accounting/Finance >Bonuses Yes >Date Posted JANUARY 09, 2012 >Job Summary: >Someone who can manage our US business until we will be able to open offices over there. Should be dynamic and open for ideas and suggestions. Exposure and knowledge of working in Internet savvy environment is a prerequisite for the job. Strong communication, are must. >Job Description: All details about this can be found at: http://www.real-graphic.com/acc_payable.html >Read them carefully and if you agree we can start right away!. You can apply directly on our page. >ALVARO COSTA >General Manager The first thing that set me off honestly, was the website. As is I'm very wary of job scams, specifically those that cater to my email... and I'm frustrated with it. So I'm hoping you guys can help me out. This website is pretty 80's, and for a company promising such a high amount, I'd expect something more savvy. Additionally, they're sending me a "check" instead of something like via bank account, so they want my info to send me a check or something for payment.. I dunno. I just don't want to waste valuable time when I'm not really, honestly, up for it. It's annoying to go through the process and then realize, "oh, they're not even real... greaaatttt..." And I know we've all been there. So /r/Scams, is this what I think it is? To good to be true?
