Community Reports

Possible fraud? So last Friday I received a call from a company called Bright and Shiny cleaning. They said that they were reaching out to people in the community and offering free carpet cleaning, tile cleaning, or upholstery cleaning for the exchange of word-of-mouth and telling people about my experience with this company. She asked for my name, address, and occupation. I didn’t think anything of it, so I told her that they could come and clean my couch. She said her name was Shannin. The phone number is 520-214-9505. After I got off the phone with her I just had an uneasy feeling so I called the number back and canceled it. I started looking up the company, and have found zero information on a company called bright and shiny in Tucson that does carpet cleaning. Am I at risk for any type of fraud? I called the credit reporting agency’s and placed a fraud alert. Is there anything that someone can do with the information I gave?
