Compliance Recovery Solutions - Fake Debt Collector Haven't seen this scam in a couple years. I got a call from 973-521-8491, and again from 307-414-1875 (most likely a forward) claiming I had payday loans taken out against my name and there was a court date set in my county. These were AMERICANS. I spoke to two "agents", one mail, one female, with a "black urban" dialect. They provided me with my social security number, a very old previous address, and an old email address. I immediately expected identity theft. So I checked my credit report and a quick google search reminded me that this was totally fake. I called them back, ripped them a new one, in which the gal got belligerent and kept responding, "My client wants their money, I guess we'll get it in court." Why can't people just go get REAL jobs instead of trying to take others' money? C'mon man.
