First - I tried uploading the entire email thread between me and the scammer, but the BBB website wouldn't work. It kept saying "Error uploading file. Please try again." It was just a simple Word file. I am reporting an employment scam involving a recruiter using the name “Alexandra Morgan” and claiming to represent a company called Careers Flow Recruit. The recruiter contacted me about a Chief Transformation Officer role and used the email address [email protected] and phone number +1 (415) 376-8064. The recruiter sent a job description and repeatedly asked for my résumé. After I submitted it, she claimed that the company’s system could not process my résumé because it was “not ATS-compliant.” She then directed me to use a specific résumé-formatting service (“Resume ATS”) that required payment before she could “resubmit” my application to the client.
