on February 23, 2026 I received a text message that was a group text message with the attached picture of a Mcafee protection invoice that was said to have been taken through my PayPal account of which I do not use and is an active. I attempted to call the phone number provided(469) 713-3793 and and they tried to get my information like they were PayPal and also assist in trying to get a reimbursement but because this number is unknown and because it could be a fake PayPal I just feel like I need to report this because I can't get into my PayPal and if I was charged through my PayPal that's gonna be a problem.
