I am writing to formally report a fraudulent investment scheme operated by a woman identifying herself as “Georgia (Gigi)” using the phone numbers +1 579 509 8814 and +44 7414 454716. I was initially instructed to open an investment account with $250 through a website promoted on Instagram. After depositing the funds, I was encouraged to invest additional amounts for daily trading profits. When I requested to withdraw my money, I was told I needed to deposit an additional $2,000 to convert my funds into cryptocurrency before withdrawal. After that, I was repeatedly asked to send more money. They created a cryptocurrency account in my name, showing daily “profits,” but when I insisted on withdrawing my funds, I was told to contact their so-called accountant in the UK. Shortly afterward, communication stopped completely. In total, I lost $5,200 due to this scam. I believe this is an organized investment fraud targeting victims through social media platforms. I request that this matter be investigated.
