I contacted United Airlines 800 540-2458 to make changes on my group # for a flight from Newark to Chicago. The changes were made & I received a confirmation email while on the phone from [email protected] . The same email address that was used for my original itinerary. I was informed that it would cost $4296 which would be fully refundable by 2/20/26 being that it was one day prior to my trip. It is mind boggling to know that someone was able to access the data on United Airlines & generate the changes. I immediately downloaded my boarding pass & my flight was as scheduled with the group change. I reported to bank no resolution, I reported to United Airlines no resolution & I also reported to FTC @media (min-width:768px){.css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-size:auto;flex-basis:auto;width:calc [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: United Airlines Spoof] [Location: NJ, USA- 07077]
