I got an email stating there was a transaction thru my paypal account in the amount of $449.99. I called the phone number that was stated on the transaction invoice. Once I was able to speak with a person they guided me to a web site that would give them control of the software of my computer. I did not go further once I realized what was happening. I told the person i was speaking with that this was a scam and i was going to seek the BBB in order to report them and the person instantly hung up on me and now the number I used to originally call is no longer an active number. The number I called is: 1-803-274-2656 [BBB Scam Type: Tech Support] [Business: PayPal / impostor] [Location: WA, USA- 98596]
