Local Art Shop in need of help! [xpost from r/wtf] The story is this: Leibold and Sons is a local shop in Bowling Green, Ky that's here for arts to get their work out into the community and a consignment store. This weekend, the bouncer from a bar two doors down threw a sober Marine thru Leibold's front window after macing the poor fellow who was just there to pick up a drunk friend. The owner of the bar told the owner of Leibold's that they should have bars on the front windows so this sort of thing wouldn't happen. The bar didn't even call the owner to tell her her front window was broken out, a random person who was around during all the mess found the owner's phone number on a business card and called her to let her know. There's more to this story but I'd rather have her tell you than I'd give it to you secondhand. The owner needs a lawyer but (like most art related folk) can't afford a lawyer up front. She wants to sue the shit out of the bar and the bouncer that caused all this shit and is willing to pay for lawyer fees after the case is settled. This is where you come in, Reddit. I'm just as upset as the owner is - she's a badass lady and shit like this does NOT need to happen! If you're willing to help, Badasses of Reddit, you can either PM me or contact her (her name is Danielle) at 270.799.9652. Please tell her that you got her number from Heidi and you're here to help her Lawyer Up. She isn't a Redditor...but she should be!
