I purchased a pallet of retail merchandise from a wholesaler. I paid the wholesaler the $125 shipping fee I was quoted. The wholesaler contacted and paid SWIFT COURIER GO for the shipping. SWIFT COURIER GO picked up the pallet of merchandise. They then contacted me stating they would need an additional $300 for insurance before they could deliver my pallet. I advised I do not want insurance. They then held my pallet hostage and are refusing to deliver or let the wholesaler pick it back up. They are demanding he now pay them storage fees. This is clearly a cargo hostage scam. Police are now involved. Everyone involved is filing police reports against the company. NEVER SHIP WITH SWIFT COURIER GO!!
