This scam is by a radio DJ named DJ HARTBREAKER (David Hart). He will find recording artists via social media and message them promising radio spins, interviews, and other artist opportunities using the contact number 702-401-8393. He requests payment be made up front so he can spin artists’ records on air and reach out to other stations on the artist’s behalf. He starts with requesting a small amount of money (˜$200) for a certain amount of radio spins. Then he contacts artists again promising an even bigger opportunity for even more money (˜$800). He makes promises for international radio plays and other opportunities, requesting artists send him more and more money, deepening the scam. He uses a cashapp with his wife’s name Allison Hart ($hbradiolv) for payment. Cash App transaction number ID’s for my payments to him are “VMYF1KJ” and “PB1SEJD” The radio station is real, but the promises made are not. I’ve found reports from others having been scammed by him online. He’s using his business front to appear legitimate and scamming people in the background. I was suspicious after being promised two songs of mine would be played on his station and noticing after 2 weeks only one of my songs had been played one time, and that was just him trying to earn trust in the beginning by showing he can put the song on air. After the initial radio spin, I was not played on the radio for the following 2 weeks. When he requested more money from me to be played on Tim Westwood’s radio station and asked for upwards of $1000, I asked to see a contract between himself and the radio station to play my record for the dollar amount requested. He could not produce a contract to prove legitimacy and got upset that I was requesting to see a contract for this business transaction. Once he realized I wasn’t paying anymore money unless seeing a contract, he blocked me on all forms of contact.
