Received a blue postcard sized notice reading, "Important notice: Response needed. [My real name], This notice is regarding your mortgage with [my real mortgage lender]. We need you to call us about an important matter regarding this loan. This is time sensitive so please call us at 844-543-9870 as soon as possible. All information provided by Mortgage Services Group, LLC. 877-899-1809. Not affiliated with, sponsored by, and loan information not provided by [my real mortgage lender]." A blue postcard with my name, bank I received a mortgage through, my address and supposed mortgage ID came in the mail. It claimed "Important Notice: Response Needed" on the top and "time sensitive" in the body and to call the number the number 844-543-9870. In the fine print on the bottom it states, "All information provided by Mortgage Service Group, LLC, 877-899-1809. Not affiliated with, sponsored by, and loan information not provided by (my lending banks name)." There is no company logo or trademarked name on the top or in an obvious place to legitimize the postcard beyond the reference to the lending bank.
