I am reporting a phone number that appears to be posing as airline customer service for Allegiant Air. I initially contacted this number believing it was an official airline support line. The representative was able to access my flight information, which made the interaction seem legitimate. However, over the course of multiple calls, they repeatedly delayed the transaction, stated that the ticket was “pending supervisor approval,” and said they would call back but did not follow through in a timely or consistent manner. They also increased the quoted price by approximately $50 from the original amount and would not provide clear or direct answers to my questions. The overall interaction felt suspicious and unprofessional. I later contacted Allegiant Air directly through their official customer service, and they were able to provide the same ticket quickly and at a significantly lower price. This confirmed that the original number was not legitimate airline support. The individuals associated with this number were given my name, flight details, and credit card information during the interaction. I am reporting this to help prevent others from being misled or potentially defrauded.
