Customer Service Scammers (unbelievable) Unbelievable. I received a ghost charge from amazon prime and naturally wanted to get it reversed. I googled amazon primes number and this: 1.888.229.6124 was the first number that popped up. I called it and was greeted by an indian man almost immediately who told me he was so and so "with customer service". I proceeded to plea my case after which I was sent to a website I became familiar with after scambaiting just yesterday. I became suspicious and hung up. I googled the number again and called back because I thought maybe I was just paranoid. Again Indian picks up and takes me to the same website. Whatever he tries to do doesnt work so he redirects me to another website which was a remote desktop service. I immediately began to question the numbers legitimacy again stating that remote desktopping customers is highly irregular. I got hung up on and blocked. I soon found the real Amazon prime number and proceeded to resolve my issues. Needless to say it was an entirely different experience.
