This person claim to be with Spectrum offering a senior discount promotion. Stated that a lot of seniors are complaining about high telephone bills. I stated to him that I have a low cell and land line through Spectrum. He had my information pulled up and asked me to verify my information, which I did. Well, then he stated that my $15 land bill will be $9.89 and my mobile phone of $10 will be $5m for 2 year program offered by Spectrum for seniors. I explained I already have a low monthly payment. He continued to state that they will send me a phone within 1 to days 2, not to open the package and to return it to the prepaid postage label. I questioned why do I need a new phone and he said its an extra line to show that I am a customer, even thou I've had Spectrum since August last year. He stated in order to give me the senior promotion, I would need to receive the package and return. I stated I did not feel comfortable doing this if this a Spectrum promotion for Seniors. So I declined the promotion. His information he gave : Chris Walker Rep ID # 40001, 1-912-386-1064. When i got off the phone with him, I had several emails that I changed by password. So I went to Spectrum and advised them of what happened and that I did not change my password. So I reset my password with the Spectrum rep. And by the way, the Spectrum rep states they are not running any promotion based on what I described. Please do something about this person so he does not scam other seniors.
