Scammers in crypto - long real life story and how to save your on chain funds. Hello everyone! I want to tell you a story about how scammers stole $169 from me and how each of you can avoid it. # Well, here's where it all started. Last week, I got a DM in twitter telling me that I had won a New Year's contest from a p2e project. And no, there was no catching me here, I checked the profile the message came from several times and it was confirmed. Also, I wasn't even asked for my wallet address from the beginning, much less did I need to connect it anywhere or confirm any transactions. I filled a google form, which I just had to fill out, with my home address and other details to receive the prize. Of course I agreed, my joy was boundless, for once I had won something! AND IT'S NOT SCAM omg But, a couple of days after filling out the form, I saw another message from the project team. "Unfortunately we can't send you your gift, so please send us your BEP-20 wallet address so we can send you the equivalent of the value of the prize in USDT. Do you think the scam-moment happened at this stage? No, it didn't. Of course I sent my address, and began to wait when I finally get the winnings. But, on the day which the project team designated as the deadline, I saw nothing on my purse. No transactions. I thought that most likely the guys are busy, they have a lot of work, a very large project and many participants and winners in this event. But nothing came in the evening either. And the next day neither. Then I decided to write in support in their discord. Perhaps my treatment already seems strange, but I immediately clarified whether it was not some kind of scam or something like that. To which I replied - "No, you really won, wait until we check everything and expect your prize, you will definitely send it. I forgot about the prize for a while, until I checked my wallet again few days later. The fact is that I also receive payment for work on several projects, a
