This “company” called from +1 (936) 359-1018 and left a voicemail that sounded like an automated recording. This is the transcript: “ Hi, this is the Forest Hill Management. We're calling to remind you that your scheduled payment is set to process tomorrow at 7 o'clock AM Eastern time. Please make sure that sufficient funds are available to avoid any disruption or removal of your current arrangement. If you have questions or need to speak with us, please call 888-471-0109 or visit pay.the Forest Hill Management”. I’ve never spoken to anyone from this company or received any written communication regarding a payment arrangement or debt owed. First I received a call from an unknown number. I did not take the call and they left a voice mail message saying that they were collecting a debt for ACE Cash Express. That I needed to call them to make payment arrangements. They identified themselves as a debt collector and actually said I owed money and encouraged me to call to make payment arrangements. I ignored the call and blocked their phone number. About 1-2 weeks later I received a text from a number only listed as 28086. Message said: "Forest Hill Account Management, a debt collector: We need to speak to you regarding your ACE Cash Express account. We want to help! Please call 888-471-0109 or visit https://pay.theforesthillmanagement.com. Reply stop to opt-out.". I made no response and blocked the number. I will not "opt-out" as that is just their way to confirm they have a legit contact number. Just simply blocking and reporting them to BBB and Fed Trades Commission. If I had any form of debt owed to ACE it would be beyond the age of collection. Not only that, I filed for bankruptcy several years ago, which means that not only do I not have any collectible debt, they have absolutely no business even approaching me about debts or payments.
