The BBB was the first link returned on Google. This was the first clue that it was a scam. I received a letter very similar to the information reported for the 1-833-732-3951 phone number. It also used the usual type of alarming phrases (in bold) that many scammers use: "we have been trying to contact you and have not been able to", "you have not called us yet", "it will be our final attempt to contact you before we close the file on this property", "REGISTRATION IS REQUIRE", "You still may have time", "FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU". Received by regular Mail a “Final Notice” from some company not clearly stated but stated it was “secured by SWBC MTG CORP” saying they had been trying to contact you and have not been able to regarding the property’s home warranty. They made it sound as if they were working with my mortgage lender, which required home warranty coverage and I had to call 1-833-732-3951 to verify immediately my information. There was no return address on the letter. The Mortgage Company they stated it was “ secured by:” is an actual company that I have no business with nor have I ever had business with, the phone numbers for the real business and this letter don’t match, and comes up as previously reported scam with the exact same method and wording. I got a letter from FINEX PROTECT telling I need to buy home warranty or I risk something and it’s required by my mortgage lender. I called the number on the letter because it sounded urgent 833-732-3951, but the were super sketchy and gave me a different company name, wanted my info etc. It sounds like a scam. The only company name I could find on the letter was FENIX PROTECT and Warranty Global Group, but the contact number was 833-732-3951.
