I received a letter in the mail. It had the name of my mortgage lender in the heading. The letter said "Final Notice: Immediate Response Needed Secured by:** (my mortgage lender) ** We need to call today about an urgent matter regarding your property. ATTENTION: (insert my name) RESIDING AT: (Address) This notice is to inform you that we have been trying to contact you and have not been able to, regarding the property's home warranty at (insert my address), secured by **(insert my mortgage lender) - PLEASE CALL TO VERIFY**. Please contact us immediately to Verify your information. Our records indicate that you have not CALLED US Yet, to verify that your home warranty is still in place and protecting you. Your Home warranty may have already expired, if it has, you will be financial liable for any and all repairs needed for your home. I got a letter from FINEX PROTECT telling I need to buy home warranty or I risk something and it’s required by my mortgage lender. I called the number on the letter because it sounded urgent 833-732-3951, but the were super sketchy and gave me a different company name, wanted my info etc. It sounds like a scam. The only company name I could find on the letter was FENIX PROTECT and Warranty Global Group, but the contact number was 833-732-3951.
